School Athletics
On Tuesday 8th of August the school went to the Flora Hill Athletics Track to participate in the annual whole school athletics carnival. In every event the students participated in they were awarded points for their house colour: 4 for first place, 3 for second, 2 for third and 1 for participation. Perfect weather greeted students amid an atmosphere of excitment and joy. The day kicked off with the hurdles and the junior field events. It finished with the junior track events and the 3 - 6 field events.
A big thankyou to those that volunteered to support on the day: Dave & Sherrill, Henry Miller, Kath Carman, Kim Sheldon, Aimee Howlett, Paula Perrett, Kylie Zappelli, Damien Zapelli, Bill Hawking, Jo Doye, Wayne Martin & Aleisha Weekly.
The following students were awarded Age Group Champions. This was based on results throughout the day and in recognition of fair play and competitive spirit.

Catholics Athletics
On Wednesday the 16th of August about 60 grade 3’s - 6’s went to the Catholics athletics to compete against all Bendigo Catholic Schools.
Everybody did great and had a good go and even some people came home with a ribbon.

Students and parents are invited to take part in out weekly run club. Walk/run as many laps of the school oval as you can from 8.10 - 8.30am every Friday morning.
Just sign in at the gate on arrival and participate to the best of your ability. It's not a race, you set your own pace. Challenge yourself to better your lap count each week.
