Youth Engagement Strategy

Thursday 17 August

The Australian Government is developing a youth engagement strategy to set out how governments will listen to the voices of young people on issues that matter to them. Yhey are running a consultation from 4.30-6.00pm at The Old Woolstore at 1 Macquarie Street to hear from young people what they want the strategy to look like. The consultation is open for anyone aged 12-25 and is an amazing opportunity for young people to have their voices heard. If you have any questions, or to RSVP, you can email  youth@education.gov.au. You can also fill in a survey or visit the website for more information.

Uniform Expectations

From Monday 21 August, hoodies will no longer be permitted to be worn under any aspect of the School uniform both Formal and Sports uniforms. If for some reason there is a need to layer in order to keep warm, and students need to wear warmer clothes under the School uniform, these items must not be visible.  We strongly encourage the use of thermal tops (blue or white) for this purpose.   If there is a medical or other reason that some parts of the School uniform cannot be worn, please communicate this with the relevant Head of School and tutors.
