Community and Sports

KNA Netball
The KNA Primary Spring Roster commenced this Monday, 4 September. Our two teams enjoyed an energetic and occasionally feisty competition against each other!
Many thanks to Jess Richardson, Ali Abetz and Felicity Griggs for coaching our excitable young players. We’re also very grateful to Charlotte Brooks for offering her umpiring services again.

Youth Sport and Recreation Participation Survey 2023 - Kingborough Council
The Kingborough Sport and Recreation Strategy provides strategic direction for Kingborough Council’s recreational facilities within Kingborough. As part of this process, a survey is being undertaken to better understand the sport and recreational needs of the community, including barriers to participation and opportunities for improved service delivery. Your assistance in completing this survey will inform the strategy and would be greatly appreciated.

Sailing at Kingston Beach (Repeat)
Kingston Beach Sailing Club will be holding learn to sail classes, Tackers 1, 2, and 3, commencing on 14 October. These classes for 8-12 year olds are held on Saturday mornings over 8 sessions. We also welcome those wanting to race or just sail, in the afternoons.
Kingston Beach Sailing Club is an accredited Australian Sailing, Discover Sailing Centre founded in 1954. Safety for all and making sure we are all having fun whilst learning, is very important to us.
Sailing gives an appreciation of our beautiful natural surroundings, an outlet for an adventurous spirit in a safe environment, and a development of self reliance and self esteem.
Numbers are limited and positions are allocated on a first come basis. Contact Jenny on 0421 064 590 for registration and information, or email dandjgraney@outlook.com
