Athletics Day 2023

 

Last Friday we held our annual School Athletics Carnival.  It was great day weather wise. Students all tired their best and enjoyed the day. 

 

Thank you to the parents and families for attending.  

 

Special thanks to Josh Wild for his organisation and all the teachers for their working in setting up in the morning and training the students in the lead up to this day.

Year 6 Boys

Wyatt Carlson:

  • High Jump - 1.35
  • Sprint - 13.61 seconds 
  • Distance - 1.10 minutes

 

Year 6 Girls

Mia He:

  • Distance - 1.11 minutes 
  • Long Jump - 3.55 meters 

Daniella Luvara:

  • Triple Jump - 6.52 meters 

Abot Yel:

  • High jump - 1.28 meters 

 

Year 5 Boys

Jude Magill: 

  • Sprint -12.05 seconds 
  • Distance - 1.16 minutes

Eddy Freeman:

  • Vortex - 40.6 meters 
  • Sprint - 12.05 seconds 

 

Year 5 Girls

Marita Bisimwa: 

  • High Jump - 1.16 meters 
  • Sprint - 12.95 seconds 

Imogen Sergeant:

  • High Jump - 1.16

Isabelle Foster:

  • Distance - 1.14 minutes 

 

Year 4 Girls 

Evie Gale:

  • Vortex - 18.7 meters 

Grace Weber: 

  • Long Jump - 2.68 meters 
  • Triple Jump - 5.93 meters 

Jasmine Elnour:

  • High Jump - 1.11 meters 

 

Year 3 Boys 

Daniel Yel: 

  • Triple Jump - 6.8 meters 
  • Vortex - 28.5 meters 
  • High Jump - 1.18 meters 
  • Spirit - 10.14 seconds 
  • Distance – 1.19 minutes 

 

Year 3 Girls

Johanna Kabangu: 

  • Sprint - 11.37

 

Our champion, with 5 records on the day was

Spirit Award

The winners of the Spirit Award went to Xavier.
