Book Week Celebrations

Hello families!

Last week we came together as a school community to celebrate Book Week. It was fantastic to see our students dress as their favourite characters and our families come to see our parade at Assembly.

Curriculum Committee

This term we have formed a Curriculum Committee to advise the school staff on key areas of interest of students and how we can improve our Knowledge Units. Students wrote an expression of interest to be considered for this role and have conducted student surveys and analysed data. This week the Committee and I met to fine tune suggestions for Term 4, before all Middle and Senior school students take a vote on what they would like to learn about and how we can make these experiences engaging and purposeful.

Finally, we have 2 weeks left to read as many books prior to the conclusion of 'The Premiers’ Reading Challenge' on Friday 8th September.
