Mr Irwin's Message

Hello families and welcome to this week’s newsletter.

On behalf of our students, I wanted to shout out to all our amazing dads and special blokes that provide the love and care to our students that they all appreciate.

So for this week’s newsletter I headed out around the school to get the dirt on what our kids love about their dads!

As much as I love being the Principal of Teesdale Primary School I love being a dad too. Sometimes that means spending more time supporting your kids more than my own but I’m looking forward to some quality time with them this weekend to celebrate Father's Day and hope all our dads get the same too.

I hope all our dads and special blokes have a terrific Father’s Day! May the weather be good, the beer be ice cold and your children behaved this Sunday.

We have now confirmed arrangements for the end of the school year. Last newsletter we advised that School Council approved a Curriculum Day for November 6th. In addition to this the mandated Professional Practice Day for teaching staff will now take place on Wednesday December 20th, meaning the last day for students is Tuesday 19th of December. This coincides with the Teesdale twilight market where students will perform carols they have rehearsed across Term 4 Performing Arts discoveries. Care on the 20th of December will be provided by Community OSH for those who require it.

Have a great week, a happy Father's Day and bye for now.
