This week sees many opportunities for us to come together as a community. Today, we have our Year 3-6 Swimming Carnival. What a day! Team spirit, healthy competition, and a lot of fun were on show. Thank you to Mel Woods and all the Year 3-6 staff for ensuring our students had a safe, well-organized, and fun day.
Tomorrow night, we have our Welcome BBQ (5 - 6:30 pm). Everyone is welcome. Sausages in bread will be provided, free of charge. BYO everything else, including soft drinks, food other than the sausages provided, and a blanket to sit on. Looking forward to seeing you there.
Finally, our Opening School Year Mass is at 12:00 pm on Friday. This is such a special opportunity for us to gather as a whole school community, welcome Fr. Jake, and celebrate everything that makes us the great community we are.
Just a reminder that at St Therese's, we have zero tolerance for physical violence, bullying, and poor language (swearing). These behaviours are not aligned with the expectations for our school and will result in appropriate consequences.
Enjoy your week.
Grow in the Likeness of God Award.
Each fortnight I will be awarding a member (or 2) from our community with this award based on our theme for 2024
Grow in the Likeness of God
This week's recipients are:
Quinn and Levi (Yr 6)
For outstanding leadership. Both showed COURAGE and INTEGRITY when faced with a challenging situation. I am so proud of you both and very grateful for the example you show to our school community.
