On behalf of the PT&F welcome back for 2024 and a special welcome to our new families!
SHROVE TUESDAY TUESDAY 13TH FEBRUARY
Shrove Tuesday 13th February – Pancakes are back!
What better way to prepare for the start of lent then with a fund raiser for Caritas!
On Tuesday the 13th, pancakes will be served to St Nicholas students for a gold coin donation to Caritas.
We need your help to make this happen.....
Step 1. Save and wash out your empty milk bottles
Step 2. Prepare a batch (or 3) of pancake batter to donate
PLEASE use this recipe for consistency:
4 cups of self-raising flour
4 cups of milk
4 eggs
4 tablespoons of castor sugar
Mix well and store in your empty milk bottles (this makes about 20 pancakes).
This can be made up the day before!
Step 3. Drop your donated batter into the front office from Monday 12th February to be refrigerated.
Gluten free pancake batter will also be gratefully accepted. GF pancakes will be prepared and cooked first.

Step 4. Send in a gold coin with your child on Tues 13th
St Nicholas PT&F needs some new blood!
Our AGM is coming up on 26th February, 6pm, school library and many of our current committee members are wanting to ‘hand over the reins’ (for genuine reasons).
Please consider donating a small amount of time to our fabulous school community. It is always a joy to be involved with the PT&F events, great company, new friends, skills development and so much more! If you have any questions please email ptfstnicholas@gmail.com or reach out to a current committee members at the welcome BBQ.
Welcome BBQ is set for 16th February – 5-8pm at the school oval.
Free sausage dinner, drinks and ice-creams available for purchase.
