Student Wellbeing
Welcome to Week 3. Time is travelling all too quickly, and I have no doubt that with the hot weather recently, some of us, whilst continually trying to cool ourselves off, have been wishing winter would hurry along and …………… so we wait!
Waiting is something that happens in our daily lives, whether we are waiting for a bus, train, or friend to arrive. For some families, the waiting is for mum or dad to complete their FIFO roster or other employment which takes them away from the family unit.
Recently, our College has subscribed to Parent TV which offers hundreds of on-demand videos to support the parenting and care of children from 0 – teens. (This subscription is available to our parents/carers/families for free. You would have received an email about login details.) ParentTV allows for connection to reliable advice on varying topics from leading parenting and educational experts.
This week, there is some great information on how best for families to cope on the treadmill of the FIFO journey. Enjoy!
