Wellbeing

with Lisa Osborne

Starting something new can be a huge source of stress and anxiety for some children and adults. While others love the idea and jump at the new opportunity before them.

Here at BPS we recognise that everyone's experience can be different and it is our goal to try and provide a community that supports those different feelings patiently and with kindness as 2024 commences.

Welcome everyone to a new year and especially if you are new to BPS a very warm welcome to you, we are glad you are a part of the BPS community. For those who don't know me, my name is Lisa Osborne and I am the BPS chaplain. I work part time, Monday and Thursdays. My role includes helping support the emotional wellbeing of  children, families and school staff, working alongside teachers and families to help children build resilience and flourish. I meet with children one on one and in small groups, sometimes regularly or as particular needs arise. For those children needing regular support, a discussion with a parent or carer and written consent is required.

Please feel free to contact me or come in for a chat if you feel wellbeing support would be useful for your child or yourself.

Having only started at the beginning of term 4 last year, I look forward to getting to know you and your beautiful children better.

It is such a privilege to be a part of this community and as I said last year, it takes a village to raise a child.  Thank you for this opportunity to contribute to your village.

Blessings, Lisa
