2024 Small Group Tuition – at NHS

The NSW Government has funded a program - Small Group Tuition which builds on three years of the COVID Intensive Learning Support Program. The program provides short term support in literacy and numeracy for students as identified by NAPLAN standards, department, and school-based assessments. Small Group Tuition is available in every NSW public school.

Each school in the state was given an individual amount based on several key factors to ensure that no child was left behind.

School executive have been meeting to discuss the best and most effective way to spend this money, updating and improving our plan of action to develop the right program for our students and school. We are committed to the improvement of literacy and numeracy skills for our students. 

Year 7 students will begin in the coming week, look out for further communication regarding the program your child will be involved in.
