Principal's Message

Dear Families,
Last week, we took time to acknowledge and celebrate the dedication and hard work of our School Administrative and Support Staff who play an essential role in supporting our students and the wider school community at Goulburn Public School. To show our appreciation, we shared a special morning tea and lunch. A sincere thank you to the P&C for providing the delicious chocolate treats—they were greatly enjoyed by everyone.
We also extend our thanks to the P&C for hosting a wonderful Father’s Day breakfast last Friday. It was fantastic to see so many families come together to celebrate this special school event. Please note, the next P&C meeting will be held on Thursday, 25 September 2025.
I’m happy to announce that our new school gates have now been commissioned and are fully operational. This upgrade will enhance safety and make access around our school grounds easier for everyone.
With the warmer weather upon us, please remember to send your child to school wearing their hat. Hats are an important part of our sun safety measures, helping to protect students during outdoor activities.
It’s been wonderful to see so many happy and excited faces around the school, especially as we have welcomed several new students over the past two weeks. Thank you to our entire school community for making them feel so warmly welcomed and part of Goulburn Public School.
Lastly, congratulations to Brady, Lilly, Oliver and Jayden who represented our school at the regional athletics carnival in Wollongong last Friday. We are very proud of your achievements and the effort you showed.
Thank you all for your ongoing support and involvement in our school community.
Warm regards,
Steve
