Grade Prep/1

Term 3 – What a Quick Term!

In reading and writing, we have loved exploring Don’t Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus! We wrote persuasive pieces and letters to the pigeon about why he should not drive the bus. Some of our reasons included, “The pigeon might crash it into a bin,” and “The pigeon can’t reach the steering wheel.”

In maths, we have been busy counting to 100, practising counting forwards and backwards, and learning about grouping, sharing, and repeated addition.

Thank you to everyone who attended the Parent–Teacher Interviews. It was wonderful for students to share their work with you and celebrate their efforts and achievements!

This term, Glasses for Kids visited our school to test our eyes. Next term, our classroom is going to look extra cool with some new glasses for students who needed them!

We hope you enjoy the holidays, and we look forward to seeing everyone back for our final term.
