Boys/Mixed Hockey and Girls Hockey
Great work to our two fantastic hockey teams, who maintained a valiant effort throughout all their games during this interschool round robin. The girls' team did not let a single goal through, taking out a draw in one game, and achieving great success in the other two games. With this great achievement, the girls' team has qualified for regionals! The boys' team, however, was not quite as lucky – despite superhuman goalkeeping from Nabhanyu D, the team was unable to take out a win. Nonetheless, great sportspersonship was visible on the field, and everybody took care of one another. Great work!
Table Tennis
Monday’s Table Tennis Sports Day was filled with energy, teamwork, and plenty of thrilling rallies. Held in a world-class facility, the standard of play was outstanding, with some serious skills on display.
Both the boys’ A and B teams delivered exceptional performances, each taking out first place in their respective competitions. There were some tight, hard-fought matchups, but Vermont proved too strong on the day. A special mention goes to Caue, who impressively won all of his matches, and to Javen, who staged a remarkable comeback in the longest match of the day — much to the rising stress levels of our coach, Josh!
The girls’ teams didn’t quite find the same luck on the scoreboard, but their determination was evident. They battled hard in every contest, with several players making their debut in a high-pressure environment.
Overall, it was a fantastic day of competition, and congratulations go to all players for their efforts and sportsmanship.
