St Louis de Montfort is Celebrating 60 years 

Good afternoon families

 

Thank you once again to the teachers and parents who participated in last week’s parent teacher conferences last week. These meetings are very beneficial to parents and teachers and gives the opportunities to discuss the success and challenges for the students.

 

Mrs Emma Davies is on a pilgrimage to Ireland with Melbourne Archdiocese of Catholic schools. We wish Emma safe travel and look forward to hearing all about her pilgrimage on her return.

 

MACSIS survey

Thank you to all the families who participated in the MACSIS survey.

This year has been the largest number of families who have taken the time to complete the annual survey. The results from the parents, staff and students will be used to drive the school’s next 4 years School Improvement Plan. 

 

Footy Day – Friday 19 September 

Thank you to all the families who donated balls and/or boots to 

Have -A- Ball Foundation. 

The sausage sizzle raised $800 for the school in Papua New Guinea where Mr O’ Brien and Mr Andrew visited during the last holidays. Mr O’Brien spoke to the teacher at the school and he was so thankful and thrilled with our support.

 

Year 3 Sacrament of Reconciliation.

Last week the Year 3 students started to prepare for their Reconciliation by attending their Reconciliation journey mass. Please keep these children in your prayers.

 

Year 6 District softball.

 Congratulations to our Year 6 softball team they have progressed to the Regional Softball competition.

 

Colour Run

On Friday 24 October we have our St Louis colour run which is our major fundraiser of the year.  Please look at the Colour Run page in this newsletter for further details.

 

Term 4 begins on Monday 6 October
