Year One/Two News 

It has been a busy term so far in the Millie Building! Students have been learning about contractions in InitiaLit, learning words such as can’t, won’t and I’m. They have been busy learning to write procedures and using bossy imperative verbs such as cut, fold and mix. 

In Maths, students have been learning strategies to solve addition problems using a range of manipulatives. Students learnt a new card game called ‘The Seven Card Game’ to put these strategies into practice.
