Foundation
Foundation students have continued developing their catching skills using their “bowl of soup” hands. They’ve been practising with a variety of balls and improving their ability to track, reach, and catch safely, showing excellent focus and progress each week.
Year 1
Year 1 students have started their Athletics unit, learning the fundamentals of running, jumping, and throwing. They’ve shown fantastic energy and effort as they prepare for future Athletics Days and continue to build their fitness and confidence.
Year 2
Year 2 students have continued with their Athletics focus and have now begun their swimming program, which has temporarily replaced PE sessions. They’ve demonstrated great enthusiasm both in the pool and when in the gym.
Year 3
Year 3 students have continued their Tee Ball unit, participating in modified games to apply their striking, fielding, and teamwork skills. It’s been great to see their confidence grow as they work together and practise game strategies.
Above photos show year 3 students working as a team to set up the tennis ball and tee ball stand (photo on the left) and standing in the field, a safe distance away from the batter (photo on the right).
Year 4
Year 4 students have continued their Cricket unit, shifting their focus from bowling to batting. They’ve enjoyed learning new striking techniques and putting their skills into action through fun games like Rapid Fire!
Year 5
Year 5 students have continued exploring Rugby, playing modified two-handed tag games to develop their passing, movement, and spatial awareness. Their teamwork and communication have been impressive as they learn to work together in fast-paced situations.
Year 6
Year 6 students have been playing full games of Netball, applying their knowledge of movement, positioning, and shooting. They’ve shown strong cooperation and a growing understanding of both offensive and defensive play.

It’s fantastic to see students staying active, encouraging each other, and enjoying every lesson. Keep up the great work, everyone!
