Garden Club

Well, it has been an interesting term. With little happening in the actual garden due to the number of weeds, we have been blessed by the Avila girls joining us on the last two Wednesdays of the term. As you will see from the pictures, we were able to add a little path to the Indigenous Garden around the flagpoles and it will be great to walk on to see and appreciate the indigenous plants. As soon as it was finished and the students had left, we had our first visitor on the path enjoying the fruits of our labour as well as some lovely bugs and worms that had been dug up! We are so grateful to the girls for their time and we look forward to them joining us each week for @6 weeks in term 4 as well.

Congratulations to 1W who have been the solid leaders of the Sticker tree challenge for at least the whole term. They have provided stickers to cover 11 trees, which is just awesome and because all of the stickers have been saved from going into landfill. A huge win! The challenge is for any class to come close or even consider taking the lead! Please keep collecting the fruit stickers and adding them to your class trees.

Well done on caring about nature so much. We get back what we give, and when we give to nature, we get back so much more! What a true blessing. Happy holidays and see you in Term 4 on Wednesdays at recess, from 1:50pm - 2:20pm.
