Toolamba Athletics Day
We are all very excited for our athletics day tomorrow. All of the students have been doing lots of practice. A timetable for the day is attached and is uploaded to Xuno. Please ensure that all students bring a water bottle, their school hat and some extra snacks for the day! We look forward to seeing everyone in their house colours on the day! Coffee van will be available from 9:00am.
Tatura Athletics Carnival - Grades 3 to 6
Our Tatura Athletics Day for the students in years 3-6 is next Tuesday September 17th. Students will need to be at school by 9:00 for a quick departure on the day as our first events begin at 9:30.
There have been some changes to the timetable to allow schools to return to school on time for the end of the day. Students in years 3-6 have the option of running a 200m or 800m race and this is being done at the beginning of our athletics day on Friday.
High Jump will be running differently, with only the top 4 boys and girls in each age group level competing. The results from our athletics day on Friday will determine who these students will be. This is due to time constraints on the day.
Please ensure that all students bring a water bottle, their school hat and some extra snacks for the day! We look forward to seeing everyone representing Toolamba with great pride on the day!
School Swimming Program
Our school swimming program will take place at Aquamoves in Week 1, Term 4. Our Foundation, Grade 1 and Grade 2 students will travel by bus and participate in a 45 minute lesson for 5 days. Schools are required to provide a school swimming and water safety program each year. Grade 3-6 students gain their water safety through their camp.
The department provides all schools with funding to cover the cost of the swimming instruction but the cost of entry and travel form part of the user-pays basis of the Parent Payment Policy. With the funding provided by the department to subsidise the instruction, the cost per student for the week is $38.00.
The program runs first day back of Term 4, we will need all permissions signed, and payment completed by 19th September, 2024.
Permission form and fee is on Xuno.
Parents are welcome to attend and watch the sessions. These will run each day for the following times:

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF EXCURSION:

Please note: payment in full is required prior to your child attending camp.
Payment plans can be paid directly to the school account, as XUNO will only accept payment in full.
Bank Account details or BPAY can be found at the bottom of the recent family statement.
Please contact the office with any enquiries.
