Sensory Magic Incursion

Students in the 13 block recently enjoyed a fantastic incursion hosted by Ebony from Sensory Magic, themed "Mini Chefs." As part of this hands-on experience, the children explored a variety of imaginative culinary activities, including making spaghetti and meatballs with basil and jelly pasta "sauce," making playdough pizzas, mixing together ice tea and creating strawberry jelly pies with sprinkles. They also had fun assembling pancakes, waffles, hamburgers, salads, fried eggs, dumplings, and sushi using sensory toys—and things got a bit messy in the best way!

This engaging incursion was more than just fun—it provided an opportunity for students to develop their creativity, enhance social skills and practice emotional regulation. Through collaborative group work and sensory play, they also supported their brain and language development. It was an enriching and memorable experience!
