Hiragana Competition

The 2024 Hiragana competition took place on Thursday, September 12 at One Tree Hill Primary. Jamie, Tahlia, Ashley and Bianca competed against 9 other schools. At first, we were all really nervous about the competition but after a couple of rounds, we were no longer nervous. 

Throughout the competition, we learnt how to read the Hiragana words and be fast and efficient. As a group, we placed first overall and won the competition for GPS. We would like to thank Sensei Toomey for helping us learn the Hiragana and taking us to the competition.
