Free Brekkie Fridays - All Students Welcome!

Hello to all,

Some great news! CSPS has been lucky enough to be inducted by Foodbank’s School Breakfast Club program!

The Foodbank “Hunger in the Classroom” found that on a typical day around three students in every class will arrive at school hungry or without having eaten breakfast. As research shows, a child's ability to concentrate in class, self-regulate and learn is negatively impacted if they are hungry. 

With Foodbank’s support, free and nutritious breakfasts will be available every Friday morning in Term 4 for all students at CSPS (as well as any parents/carers/younger siblings who may want to join).

Breakfast menu: Toast (butter, vegemite, honey), range of cereal, fresh fruit, fruit cups, and baked beans. *subject to change*

When: Fridays 8:10am - 8:45am in Term 4

Where: The main entrance to the SLC. 

If your child(ren) plans to attend these breakfasts and have specific dietary requirements, please contact the front office. 

Please come along, enjoy some ‘grab and go’ style breakfast, and connect with others in the community!
