Attendance Report
ATTENDANCE
Congratulations to our joint winners, Prep C and 1/2G, of Term 4 Week 1 Weekly Attendance award for being the class with the highest attendance in the school.
Our overall school attendance is currently at 52%.
Are you have difficulty with an over-tired child?
Does your child not want to wake in the mornings?
If your child is accessing technology in the hours before bed it is quite possible that this is interfering with them getting quality sleep. Screen time and digital technology use can affect how quickly your child falls asleep and how long your child sleeps. This happens for several reasons:
- Screen time in the hour before bed can stimulate your child.
- Light from televisions, computer screens, phones and tablets might suppress melatonin levels and delay sleepiness.
- Your child might be tempted to stay up late to chat with friends or play games.
- Your child might be disturbed in the night by notifications, messages or calls.
You can reduce these risks by encouraging children to avoid screens in the hour before bed.
It’s best to keep phones and other digital devices out of bedrooms at night.
If any parents and carers have notes/letters that need to be returned, please remember to return them to school so that your child’s attendance can be updated.
EVERY DAY COUNTS!
