🏀Divisional Basketball🏀

On Tuesday the 17th of September the school basketball team travelled to Geelong Sports Hub for the North Geelong Division Basketball Competition. Our first game was against Montpellier we knew it would be a tough match. We fought hard until the final play of the game but we ended up losing by 2 points, 13-11. But we didn't let that loss get to us we kept our cool until our next game. When our second game tipped off we were electrifying from the word go. We played as a team and we ended up winning 38-10 with Harry L nailing a 3 pointer to finish the game off. We were pumped to get that win because that meant we would qualify for the semi finals against the Holy Spirit.

Then when our game started against Holy Spirit the first half of the game was even. But the second half of the game Holy Spirit owned us and then our chances of going to regionals were no longer in sight. We were all really down on ourselves but we knew we still had one more game to get through and if we won we would bring home third place. So if we wanted third place we just needed to get through Belmont and honestly once the game ended it was an easy win so at the end of the day we came home with third place.
