Our Planet Earth

A Year 9/10 Elective

On Friday 13 September, the “Our Planet Earth” class went to visit the Marine Discovery Centre in Queenscliff. We had the opportunity to visit the aquarium to explore and learn more about biodiversity in a marine setting.

We were also able to board a boat and go out into the Port Phillip Bay, Queenscliff. As we sailed, we came across many different types of sea creatures such as Bottle Nose dolphins, Australian Fur seals, Australasian Gannets, decorator crabs. It was a fantastic and enriching experience that allowed us to learn about the different lives of these organisms and how they adapt to their environment. Overall, it’s a fantastic way to discover more about the ocean and its inhabitants.
