Media Arts at St Michael's
Throughout Terms Three and Four, our classroom teachers have been lucky enough to receive coaching in the curriculum area of Media Arts from our Digitech Leader, Jordan Lo Ricco. This part of the curriculum encompasses media, art and design.
Last term, students were given the opportunity to make videos related to their inquiry, using Green Screen in our Black Box Theatre.
The learning has continued in this space throughout Term Four and our Year Five/Six students are currently creating advertisements for their Market Stalls for the Mini Fete. These are being videoed, using our new microphone recording equipment. Teachers in the other year levels will play these videos to the students, so they know what is on offer for the Mini Fete on the 16th November.
