Art Exhibition

We are excited to invite you to Murrumbeena Primary School’s 2023 Visual Art Exhibition to be held on Thursday 30th November 5-7pm. The exhibition will be held in the M.P.S school hall and Arts Hub. Each student will have three pieces of artwork on display that they created throughout the school year in their Visual Arts lessons. There will be a range of student performances throughout the evening including Senior Performers, Junior Performers, Street Drummers and soloists.

The winners of the student Art Competition will be announced during the evening of the Art Exhibition. This year’s theme for the Art Competition is ‘Once Upon a Time’. If a student has a submission for the competition they can submit it to Ms Marquis in the Visual Arts room. Students are to ensure that their artwork is clearly labelled with their name and grade.

This year, Year 6 student Toby Fitzjohn’s (6K) Dragon Eye artwork is featured on the Art Exhibition poster. Seychelle Cunningham’s (4W) Castle Collage Artwork is the artwork featured on the Art Competition poster. See the accompanying posters to see the amazing talent of these student artists and for further information regarding the Art Exhibition and the Art Competition.
