PRINCIPAL'S REPORT
Lindy Burke
As another busy week comes to a close, we have a couple of important reminders.
2024 CLASSES
As mentioned in last week’s newsletter, it is getting closer to the time of the year when we sort our 2024 classes. If you would like to discuss if your child has any educational needs we should be considering when forming our grades, please make an appointment with either Ben Hawthorn or myself by Friday the 27th of October (end of next week). These appointments can either be via phone or in person.
SCHOOL UNIFORM
Students must be in full school uniform each and every day, including a school broad-rimmed hat during term 4 and term 1. Hip Pocket (on Packenham street) supplies our full range of school uniform if you require any additional items.
Please note:
HEADLICE
Just letting you know that it is that time of the year where head lice is detected in the school (Level 3 have had reported cases) We ask you to please take the time to check your child’s hair for eggs and live lice, and treat if required. We would also appreciate if you could let the school know, so we can keep all informed.
ATTENDANCE
It is vital that your child is at school every day (when well and COVID free) especially during term 4 leading up to student report processes and our in school transition program. We have a number of students who have been either absent or late so far this term and this current trend is quite concerning. If you have concerns around your child/rens attendance, please don’t hesitate to contact the school.
Let’s help our kids be an Attendance HERO! We can do it! Remember ‘Every day Counts!’
With all that said, wishing you all a lovely weekend. See you all on Monday morning at 8:45am!
