Indigenous Youth Cricket Day

On Thursday 12th October,  twenty students from Years 3-6 were lucky enough to participate in the Gunnedah Indigenous Cricket Youth Day held at Kitchener Oval. The students had coaches from NSW Cricket in attendance and learnt a variety of cricket skills over the day. Thank you very much to all the coaches, especially those who travelled from Sydney to give their time and expertise.

Polding Athletics

On Friday 13th October the following students travelled to Sydney Olympic Park to compete at the Polding Athletics Championships as part of the Armidale Diocesan Team:

Everyone did very well and represented our Diocese with pride. Congratulations to Josh Spinks- 1st place 11yrs boys high jump, Nash Groth- 3rd place 12yrs boys shot put and Summer Roberts 3rd place 12 yrs girls long jump for gaining selection in the NSWPSSA Athletics Championship. 

NSWPSSA Athletics

Congratulations to Josh Spinks (high jump), Nash Groth and Summer Roberts who attended the NSWPSSA Athletics Carnival, on Wednesday 25th October, as members of the Polding Athletics Team. We are very proud of all three students. It is such an accomplishment to progress to NSWPSSA.

Primary Sport Electives

Primary Sport electives will start on Friday 10th November and run for four weeks.

An email was sent to all parents to nominate a sport for your child. These nominations are due by tomorrow, Friday 27th October. Preference will be given to Year 5 and Year 6 students.
