All students attending St Louis de Montfort's Aspendale have the right to feel safe. The care, safety and wellbeing of children and young people is a fundamental responsibility of all within our school.
Good afternoon families,
We had another busy week with Yr 6 boys and girls cricket team finals, prep 2024 information night, Parents and Friends meeting, a sausage sizzle, Year 4's excursion to the zoo and the Year 6 Sustainability team to the zoo to promote the sustainability program at St Louis.
Condolences to Michelle Barron, her beautiful mother passed away this week. The Kelly family have been parishioners of St Louis' for many years. Michelle will not be at school this week.
Well done to our 2 Year 6 cricket teams on making the regional competition. Both teams played extremely well and represented St Louis' with great sportsmanship. a huge tank you to Gareth Bell and Mrs Gill for their super coaching.
Year 2 Level masses this weekend
All Year 2 students are invited to the parish masses this weekend. The times of masses are 6 pm Saturday at St Louis: 9.30 am at St Louis or 11 am at St Brigid's on Sunday morning.
Prep Assembly
Monday 20 November is the prep assembly at 2.30pm. All parents are welcome. The top carpark will be open for you to drive in after 2.25 pm.
2024 Prep Orientation
The prep 2024 children have another orientation session this Tuesday 21 November from 9 am - 12.15 pm
Kids On Keys Concert
This Wednesday 22 November the students who participate in the Kids on Keys musical program will be giving the school a concert. They are at varies time throughout the day. If any parents would like to attend please ring the office for the times.
Victorian School's Garden Awards
Once again St Louis' has been nominated for some of these awards. Mrs Merten and Frank will be taking the the Yr 6 Garden team to the Presentation ceremony at the Botanical Gardens.
PFA Colour Run Friday 24 November
On Friday 24 November the Parents and Friends have organised a Colour Run. it starts at 4.30 pm. Please read the Parents and Friends page in this newsletter for more information.
Library closed from Monday 27 November.
This week is the last week for students to borrow books from the library. Please check at home for any library books or class take home readers. We are missing over 4000 books and we are sure thay are hiding somewhere in the homes of St Louis' students.
