Our First Aquathlon!

OUR FIRST AQUATHLON

Year 10 PE students recently competed in Mt A’s first Aquathlon! Commencing with a 200m swim and then straight into a hilly 2km run, participants showed incredible determination. A huge congratulations to all participants for taking on this challenge and to our dedicated HPE teachers for making this event possible. The Aquathlon was not only a physical test but also a valuable complement to the theory component of their course. 

This practical experience allowed them to apply the knowledge they’ve gained in the classroom to a real-life athletic event, gaining a deeper understanding of the concepts they’ve been studying.

A special shout out to Lara for blazing through the course in a mere 13 minutes and 46 seconds!
