From the Assistant Principal 

We are fast coming to the end of another school year, and I would like to thank each and every one of you for your contribution to Ormond Primary School in 2023. Our students have been able to enjoy many wonderful events and activities due to the collective efforts of our staff, School Council, Parents and Friends, and families and we are looking forward to working together for an even more successful 2024.

Our School Improvement Team/Leadership has been busy with plans for next year, including reviewing and strengthening many of our processes, and we look forward to sharing more details about that early in the new year. We will begin the new school year with two student-free days so that staff can work together on creating a more positive school culture, improving communication processes and participating in professional learning about Individual Education Plans and student wellbeing. 

Congratulations to our graduating year 6 students, we thank you being role models to the community and wish you all the best for secondary school. And to any families moving on from us, we have enjoyed having you and good luck for the future.

And to all students, families and staff, thank you so much for welcoming me into the OPS community and I look forward to working with again next year.

2024 Captains

We would like to thank the Year 5 students who participated in the 2024 Leadership process recently. There is always an enormous amount of reflection and hopes for the future with students writing their speeches and then presenting to a voting cohort. Each presentation was amazing and it was a credit to all for a great job.

After the votes were collated and interviews conducted, Captain positions were announced. Attached is a list of the Ormond 2024 School Leaders.
