Breaking Point - Unpacking the Crisis in Youth Mental Health
Join Dr. Justin Coulson, Australia's leading parenting expert, as he unpacks the mental health crisis enveloping our kids.

- Realistic approaches for managing screen time in a way that protects your child's wellbeing without completely alienating them from their peers.
- Creating margin in your home and family life to protect and promote mental wellness.

Helping your child become confident and capable
In this session, Judith uses latest research and clinical experience to show positive and effective strategies parents can use to help their children become more confident and capable and help the family become more harmonious.
The sessions
- assist parents ensure their child experiences fulfilling years at school
- offer solutions to parents to help children cope better with the demands of school and schoolwork and encourage their child’s personal motivation and independence
- give parents strategies they can use to ensure their relationship with their child remains positive
- help parents assist their child develop maturity and responsibility to do well in their life beyond school.

Headspace Schools & Communities would like to invite you to attend a Mental Health Education session for Parents and Carers of The Gap State High School.
