GoodTalk Bilingual Speech Conference

Last Friday we were excited to have a class of international Chinese students and their teachers visit the College in anticipation of the 15th annual GoodTalk International Children and Youth Bilingual Speech Conference held at RMIT over the weekend.

Two students, Ciaran (Year 10) & Lucas (Year 8), attended the conference alongside Cindy, one of our esteemed Chinese Language teachers, where they competed formed speaking partners to practice their combined speech. Our students spoke Chinese, and the Chinese students spoke English. Through joint efforts, not only did Lucas and Ciaran win first and third places respectively but they also made many new friendships.
