2024 - The Year of Opportunity

Proverbs 3:3-5, Don’t lose your grip on Love and Loyalty.  Tie them around your neck; carve their initials on your heart.  Earn a reputation for living well in God’s eyes and the eyes of the people. Trust God from the bottom of your heart; don’t try to figure out everything on your own. Listen for God’s voice in everything you do, everywhere you go; he’s the one who will keep you on track.

As we start this new year, as a team our word for the year is 'opportunity'.  We posture ourselves to be open to all that God has planned for us as a learning community and trust in his provision for us.  

Pathways are not always straight, the decisions we have to make this side of eternity are not always easy to make or clear in the moment, time can reduce our capacity to think through situations and life can simply complicate the paths laid before us.

However, in Proverbs 3 we are encouraged to trust in God with all we are and rest in knowing that we actually don't need to know all the answers.  As we lean into God and his heart for us, we become known as people who are loved and centred to a God who offers love beyond measure and is beyond loyal to us.

This year we desire to trust God in all things, at all times and know that as we listen to his voice the pathways of 'Living & Learning' and relational interactions within our community will assist us to live well.

I pray this is true for each of your households.  May love and loyalty lead the way in all we do.
