This marks our final newsletter for Term 1. It’s amazing to think we’ve already reached the end of the first term of the year.
This week’s parent teacher interviews offered a wonderful opportunity to see so many families engaging with their children’s teachers. These conversations play an essential role in strengthening the partnership between home and school, helping ensure that every student receives the support they need to thrive. They provide valuable space for open dialogue about progress, challenges and achievements, allowing us to work together in guiding each child’s learning journey.
I would like to extend my sincere thanks to our teachers for their dedication, professionalism and commitment to creating a positive and engaging learning environment. Your efforts are truly appreciated. I am also grateful to our parents and carers for taking the time to meet with teachers and for your ongoing involvement in this important process.
Our final Parent Teacher Interview session will take place next Tuesday.
The term break is a wonderful chance to slow down and enjoy some simple, fun activities with your children. Exploring local parks or going on a nature scavenger hunt can spark curiosity and get everyone outdoors. At home, cooking together - whether it’s making homemade pizzas or baking a batch of muffins - offers a great mix of learning and laughter. Creative projects like building a cardboard city, painting, or trying a new craft can keep little hands busy and imaginations buzzing. Even setting up a family board‑game afternoon or a backyard picnic can turn an ordinary day into something memorable. Whatever you choose, the break is a perfect time to reconnect, play and make new memories together.

Student safety is always a top priority and we encourage parents to be extra mindful of electric cars around schools. Due to their quiet operation, these vehicles can be harder for pedestrians to hear approaching, so it's important to stay vigilant and ensure children are aware of their surroundings when walking near traffic.

Please see below some more safety tips on how to drop off and pick up children safely.
