Game Sense

In this course, students will explore a range of sports and games with an emphasis on developing skills and tactics for participation in competitive team and individual sports. Game Sense is a highly practical and student-centered approach to learning sports. It involves fun, lots of game play, collaboration, challenge, and the development of critical sports thinkers. Students will explore different sport classifications, such as invasion sports, and develop an understanding of different sport specific tactics and techniques.

Students will also learn how to model fair competitiveness in alignment with Kingdom values and build on teamwork and problem-solving skills. Students will explore factors that contribute to successful elite sports performance and develop an understanding of sport rules and how these can influence tactics used for successful performance. Students will also engage in a creative project, in which they will research, develop and present their own sport.
