Visual Art

Students engage in a range of projects that develop an understanding of art and design elements and principles incorporating a broad range of materials and techniques.

Students study Art from a historical perspective and then translate these ideas into a everyday context. This involves students exploring their ideas using a variety of media with a particular emphasis on originality and development of their own unique talents. Students recognise the powerful impact of visual art within their society and learn to appreciate, use and develop their creative skills.
