Science Investigations

Students will be encouraged to think beyond the science curriculum and explore the process of scientific design. They will further develop their skills in predicting, planning and conducting scientific investigations. A key element of this course is to support students in evaluating their scientific findings, identifying limitations, and suggesting modifications to improve the quality of their data. 

Science Investigations is a practical subject focused on the process of science rather than just the end results, so students will perform further testing based on their recommendations for improvements. In the second half of the course students will begin to formulate their own questions to investigate scientifically.
