Principal's Message

Leongatha Primary School - Week 6 Principal’s Message

Dear Leongatha Primary School

As we approach another exciting week, I would like to take a moment to send my warmest wishes to our Grade 4 and Grade 6 students as they embark on two fantastic opportunities that will allow them to grow, learn, and have fun.

Our week begins with a Precinct-wide Reconciliation Assembly, a meaningful event that brings together students from across the precinct to reflect on and celebrate the ongoing journey of reconciliation. This gathering is an important opportunity to learn about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories, cultures, and contributions, and to reaffirm our commitment to unity, respect, and understanding.

Firstly, to our Grade 4 students, I hope you are filled with excitement and anticipation as you head off to the Woorabinda Adventure Camp. This is an incredible opportunity for you to challenge yourselves, build new friendships, and develop essential leadership skills. I am confident that each of you will embrace the adventure ahead with enthusiasm and a positive attitude. Have a fantastic time exploring the great outdoors, learning new things, and making memories that will last a lifetime.

To our Grade 6 students, I wish you all the best as you participate in the Friday Inter-school Sports. This event is a wonderful chance for you to showcase your athleticism, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Whether you're on the track or the field, remember that it's not just about winning, but about doing your best and supporting one another. Enjoy the friendly competition and cheer on your peers with pride.

I am incredibly proud of all of you for taking part in these enriching experiences. Good luck, have fun, and we can’t wait to hear all about your adventures and achievements when you return.

Sincerely

Warwick
