Year 4 First Communion

While they were eating, he took a loaf of bread, and after blessing it he broke it, gave it to them, and said, "Take; this is my body.”Mark 14:22

We are excited to share that our Year 4 students will be celebrating their First Holy Communion next term. This is a very special milestone in their faith journey.

The celebrations will take place on the following dates:

Saturday, 23rd August at 5:30pm – St Margaret Mary’s Church

Sunday, 24th August at 10:00am – Sacred Heart Church

Sunday, 31st August at 10:00am – Sacred Heart Church

Please note that for your child to receive the Sacrament of First Holy Communion, they must have already been baptised and have made their First Reconciliation.

We look forward to sharing this sacred and joyful time with our students and their families.

P-2 Family Prayer Night - postponed

Our Prep – Year 2 Family Faith Night has been postponed.  With the many exciting events that have taken place this term, including the Movie Night, Maths Night, and the current Swimming Program, we have noticed that students and families are feeling quite tired.

To ensure that our Family Faith Night is a meaningful and enjoyable experience for everyone, we believe it is best to hold this special evening early next term, rather than adding to the busy schedule.  We have moved the night to Tuesday 5th August 5:30-6:30pm

We appreciate your understanding and look forward to gathering together in a more restful time.

Parent Helper Program

Thank you to the parents who attended the Parent Helper sessions last term and, most recently, on Tuesday afternoon. We truly value the time and support our parents give to help in the classroom. The children benefit greatly from having extra support, whether through reading, small group work, or simply having another caring adult to encourage their learning.

If you missed the session and would like to help out in the classroom, please contact a member of the Learning and Teaching team—we’d love to have you involved!
