AROUND THE SCHOOL

FATHER'S DAY STALL AND BREKKIE
Father’s Day Stall
The Father’s Day stall was held yesterday (Thursday 4th September). It’s always lovely to see the children choose a gift for their Dad, grandparent or special person in their life, and to hear their rationale for choosing it.
We would like to extend a BIG thank you to the following parents for making this event happen: Ash Clark, Claire Vagg, Kate Browne and Michelle Boyd
Father’s Day Breakfast
This morning (Friday 5th September), the annual Father’s Day Breakfast was held. Bacon and egg rolls were served along with cereal, toast, juice, tea and coffee for a bargain price of $7. 176 Bacon and Egg rolls were served this morning.
At a small school like St. Laurence’s, we are so lucky to have parents willing to volunteer their time to make events like this happen. If you have ever considered helping out with events like this in future, we highly recommend the experience. A couple of hours over a school year make a HUGE difference. With the Colour Run next week, it’s a great time to volunteer!
We would like to make a special shout out to the following parents for rolling up the sleeves yesterday and this morning for the Father’s Day Breakfast:
Alisha Hemming, Ange Cook, Anna Riccardi, Ash Clark, Bec Carmody , Cat Gray
Christy Roberts, Claire Vagg, Emily Sherriff, Jess O’Neill, Mel Allman, Michelle Boyd
Nicole Galal-Edwards, Tash & Nick McRae
Thank you
Happy Father's Day
