Acting Principal's Message
Year of Jubilee
Good afternoon everyone.
I would like to acknowledge the hard that goes into organising events such as our Father's Day stall and breakfast, and our school colour run. Our parents work tirelessly to make these events run smoothly. A huge thank you to all of the helpers.
Friday, 12th September is our school COLOUR RUN. We are combining this with R U OK? day, so students are asked to wear a touch of yellow. The cost of the day is $10 each student (pay by CDF pay) which covers the running costs of the colour run plus a pair of protective glasses. Again a huge thank you to our parents that have organised everything leading up to, and including the running of this day. Here are some important details about this day.
- Students wear sport school uniform to school - bring a change of clothes, towel, closed toe shoes and socks (old ones are best).
- Students will change into old clothes prior to the run (please don't send good clothes or shoes as they may get stained).
- The run will begin around 12:30pm and conclude at approx. 2:00 - 2:30pm.
- Students will need to change back into their school sport clothes before they go home (unless they go home with parents after run).
- Students will need a towel to clean themselves before they change back into sport clothes.
- There will be many obstacles / army crawl on grass / slip'n'slime for our students to enjoy.
- All students wishing to engage in the 'colour' part of the run will need to wear a white t-shirt.
- If there is an obstacle that your child does not want to do, they can choose not to.
- If your child does not want to be covered in colour, they need to wear a dark t-shirt instead.
- If you are taking your child home at the completion of the run, please let your child's teacher know.
- Students are permitted to bring insect repellent if they choose to.
- Students are not recommended to wear any jewellery including a watch. If so, it is at their own risk.
- Parents are welcome to come and support the day!
- Don't forget to wear a touch of YELLOW - socks, hair ribbon, shorts, etc for R U OK? day.

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY TO ALL OUR DAD'S AND THE SPECIAL MEN IN OUR LIVES
Dear Father in heaven,
you are always near to us on earth,
and we thank you for all the love you put
into our lives so that we can be joyful,
even in all kinds of temptations and struggles.
How much you have given us and how often you have rescued us from distress!
Again and again you have let the
light of life shine out.
You give us light not only for the moment
but also for the future,
enabling us to draw strength and
assurance from the present,
the past, and the future.
Amen.
