A huge congratulations to the talented athletes who represented our school at the Diocesan Athletics Carnival on Friday 29th August at Blacktown International Sports Park, Eastern Rd, Rooty Hill. The carnival was a wonderful celebration of teamwork, determination, and school spirit. Students gave their best efforts, supported one another, and demonstrated great sportsmanship throughout the day. We are so proud of their achievements and look forward to even more success ahead!
On the day of the Diocesan, Jessica received her trophy as she was awarded Junior girls runner up for the Cumberland Zone Carnival. Well done Jessica!
We are delighted to celebrate the outstanding achievements of Gabriella C (year 4, 4th junior girls shot put) and Jessica L (year 4, 1st 9 years 100m) , who have qualified to represent our school at the next level of the representative pathway at the MacKillop Athletics Championships on Wednesday 24th September 2025. Their dedication, perseverance, and positive attitude have been truly inspiring, and this accomplishment is a testament to their hard work and commitment to training. We are so proud of their success and can’t wait to see them shine as they take on this exciting new challenge — congratulations and good luck girls!
Representative Sport Shirts
A gentle reminder that if your child has worn/borrowed one of the St Margaret Mary’s representative singlets/shirts to please return it as soon as possible. We still have quite a few missing from the gala days and Zone Athletics.
“Obstacles don’t have to stop you. If you run into a wall, don’t turn around and give up. Figure out how to climb it, go through it, or work around it.”
