Technology/STEM Spotlight

Year 10 System Technology Soars!
Our Year 10 System Technology students have been busy pushing the boundaries of innovation with their latest microbit projects. Five talented teams rose to the challenge of creating airborne devices, showcasing exceptional problem-solving skills and teamwork.
Project Highlights:
- Four teams successfully built functional drones, with each group using 3D printing technology to customize and enhance their designs
- One innovative team took a different approach, constructing an impressive hover bit that demonstrates creative engineering solutions
These projects highlight our students' ability to combine programming, engineering design, and collaborative thinking. Each team navigated technical challenges, refined their prototypes, and demonstrated the kind of hands-on learning that prepares them for future STEM careers.
National Robotics Competition - October
A national robotics competition is coming in October! A big shout out to students participating in this competition, please come to Wednesday Robotics Club (Room 8) to build and refine your robots for competition.
