Tuning into Kids

Respectful Relationships

To begin Term 4, all students from Prep to Year 6 will be engaged in Topic 5: Stress Management. This topic is an important part of the Respectful Relationships curriculum to support your child's wellbeing.

Through age-appropriate activities and games, students will learn to:

  • Recognise and identify their own emotions.

  • Understand situations that may cause strong emotions.

  • Explore how their feelings can influence their actions.

  • Develop effective strategies to manage their emotions.

Stress is a normal part of life, and building skills to manage it is key to positive mental health. This unit will provide students with practical tools to recognize their own signs of stress and practice helpful coping strategies.

Our goal is to empower your child to feel more confident and prepared to handle life's challenges, now and in the future. Below is one of the resources from the curriculum that the children in Grade 3 and 4 will be exploring. We look forward to sharing the student work samples with you early next term!
