Earth Day
Year 4 students enthusiastically took part in Earth Day learning on April 22nd, showing great curiosity and care for our planet. Earth Day 2026 is Wednesday, April 22, 2026, marking the 56th anniversary of the global environmental movement. This year’s theme, “Our Power, Our Planet,” helped students understand how individual and community actions can make a difference, especially through renewable energy and caring for the environment. As part of a STEM challenge, students designed and created their own growing “Earths,” combining science, creativity, and problem-solving. They are now watching their Earths grow in the classroom, observing how small seeds can develop into living plants with time, care, and the right conditions. Through this hands-on learning, students are discovering that environmental progress is built through everyday actions - from people protecting ecosystems to new ideas helping solve problems.
