From the Principal's Desk

It has been a very busy fortnight at All Saints’, and as is always the case in Term 4, things are only getting busier as we move toward the end of the year. With Presentation Day, the Year 6 Dinner, 2026 School and Sport Captain speeches, and a range of other events approaching, there is certainly plenty happening across our school.
I would like to extend a huge thank you to Mrs Wailes and Mrs Barclay for taking the time to attend our recent Year 4/5/6 excursion to Ballarat. Excursions like these provide invaluable learning experiences outside the classroom, and they simply wouldn’t be possible without the generous support of our staff and volunteers. We truly appreciate your commitment to supervising the students and ensuring the trip was a memorable success.
This year’s Remembrance Day service certainly came with its challenges. Despite the difficult weather forcing a last-minute change of venue to the RSL Hall, the ceremony remained a moving and respectful tribute. I would like to make a special mention of Isabella, Isabelle, and Ella for their beautiful readings, and to Orlando for taking on the solemn responsibility of laying the wreath. It was wonderful to see all our students “Presenting with Pride,” representing All Saints’ Primary School with dignity under tricky circumstances. The school community is very proud of you.
Over the past week, we have been fortunate to have Maddie and Sam join us for their work experience. Thank you both for choosing All Saints’ and for your enthusiasm and assistance around the school. Your help has been greatly appreciated by both the teachers and the students. You will be missed, and we wish you all the very best in your future endeavours.
We also held our final Kindergarten Transition session for our 2026 Kindergarten students this week. It has been a pleasure welcoming our newest learners into the school, watching their confidence grow each visit. I would like to thank Mrs Thomsen for her organisation, care, and commitment in ensuring these transition mornings run smoothly and provide a warm and positive introduction to school life.
Warm regards,
Daniel Francis
Principal
