Family and Faith Matters

St Vincent de Paul Christmas Appeal
Traditionally, the Holy Family community have supported the Vinnie’s Christmas Hamper Appeal and we will do this again this year.
Christmas is just around the corner and the senior students are eager to begin packing boxes, but they need your help!
The hampers will provide families in need with some food this Christmas. Each class has been allocated a product.
We would like students to please start collecting these from the class list below to supplement each hamper.
Items can be brought to school and placed into the St Vincent de Paul Christmas baskets located in your child's classroom.
The closing date to bring in all products will be Monday, 17th November (Week 6).
KW - cereal
KG - sweet biscuits and jelly
1W - long-life milk and long-life custard

2W - Christmas cakes and puddings
2G - Milo
3W - tea and coffee

"Stir it Up Sunday" on Sunday 30th November. A Fun Family Faith Initiative
Want to make a real steamed Christmas Pudding with your child to take to your family Christmas lunch for dessert? Why not come to this fun family weekend initiative run by Carolyn Packwood's mother Judy! (Austin's Grandmother) She is a seasoned Christmas pudding maker, a YouTube phenomenon and all the ingredients come prepared for you. (A list of a few things you will need to bring but will be emailed to you a week before the event.) Children almost essential so don't worry about booking the babysitter. This is for Holy Family families and their friends.
Register via the QR code BY NOVEMBER 15 with payment per family. You can pay to make more than one pudding per family so if for example there are four children "Stirring it up" then maybe pay for 2 puddings! Give the puddings as gifts! Retail wise, such cakes home-made would cost at least $100. All money will cover Judy Gill's costs with any leftover going to our Vinnies Christmas Appeal.
On November 16th a list of things to bring will be sent to all who have registered.
HURRY 10 FAMILIY SPOTS LEFT!!
Any Chefs in the House who want to help out with food at the Christmas Concert? We need you!! Please email me if you would like to join an existing team to offer the community some food like we have had for many years now. Food always brings people together, but someone has to make it! You will be fully reimbursed and given lots of help and support from the Parish. You also will not miss seeing your children in the concert. In fact, if you volunteer to help you get front row seats!!
Welcome to the New Kindy Families for 2026
A Sunday 10.15 am Parish Mass on November 23rd will be held to welcome all the new 2026 families to the community. We would like many families to attend that day, especially if your child is a current Kindy family. Please save the date!
