COMMUNITY SPORTING ACHIEVEMENTS
Congratulations to Sarah B (4DS) who played for Moonee Ponds at the Shepparton Cup over the weekend, where her Under 11s team proudly took home the trophy!
With 400 teams and around 15,000 people at Victoria’s biggest junior soccer tournament, that’s an amazing achievement — well done, Sarah! 💪🏼
Congratulations to Oakley V (6LB) who played for the Eltham Redbacks U12 Boys at the Mt Eliza Cup last weekend. Oakley’s team went undefeated in five matches, winning the Championship!
Oakley was a star in goals, conceding only three goals all day, and even making a crucial save in the penalty shootout of the Grand Final to help secure the win. What an incredible effort — congratulations, Oakley! 💪🏼
Congratulations to Asher P (5RC), who competed at the Hurstbridge Pony Club Combined Training Competition on a very wet and rainy day! Riders completed one dressage round and one show jumping round, with scores combined for the final results.
Asher placed an impressive 5th out of 21 riders, earning a ribbon and scoring a fantastic 81.8% in her dressage test - Great job, Asher! 💪🏼
Congratulations to Perry S (2TS) who represented Metro North at the 2025 Metro Junior District Competition held at the MSAC last Saturday. Perry competed in four individual events and two relays, placing top six in all his individual races — including 2nd place in the 50m breaststroke. He also helped his team earn 5th place in the freestyle relay and 3rd in the medley relay.
A fantastic achievement that reflects Perry’s dedication, determination, and sportsmanship — Well done, Perry! 💪🏼
If your child achieves something special (grand final win, most valuable player award, best and fairest etc.), please email me (jordan.daley@education.vic.gov.au) through photos and an overview of the achievement to post in Contact. It is important to celebrate and recognise such successes with the school community.

The Inclusion Action Team is excited to invite everyone to a special event:
The Inclusion Parade!
On this day, come dressed in something that represents who you are. This could be a cultural outfit, the colours of your flag, or something that reflects your personality and hobbies.
We’ll be holding a parade at 9:15am to celebrate and showcase all of your amazing outfits. During the day, members of our Inclusion Action Team will also share what inclusion looks and sounds like, and how we can all play a part in creating an inclusive community.
We can’t wait to see your creativity and celebrate what makes each of us special!
